The CANARMORâ„¢ FACESHIELDâ„¢ FAST / MICH Ballistic Visor provides comprehensive facial protection against multiple ballistic impacts, fragmentation, and blunt-force threats. Designed for military, law enforcement, tactical, bomb disposal, and EOD applications, the visor provides full facial coverage from the helmet rim to below the chin while maintaining high light transmission and minimal optical distortion.
Constructed from a high-performance laminate of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) and polycarbonate with a proprietary TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) interlayer, the visor combines ballistic performance with excellent visibility and durability.
The visor provides impact protection against NIJ Level IIIA (HG2) ballistic threats, including 9mm, .357 Magnum, and .44 Magnum ammunition. It is specifically designed for FAST and MICH-style ballistic helmets equipped with Ops-Core ARC-type side rails, providing a secure and stable helmet-mounted configuration.
The Visor Fastening System (VFS) allows the face shield to be securely attached to or removed from compatible helmet side rails. The visor can be locked into three operational positions: fully elevated, 45-degree/mid-level, and fully deployed, allowing the wearer to quickly configure the face shield according to operational requirements.
