- LINE-X-Based Anti-Spall Coating: Features a protective coating designed to reduce the dispersion of projectile fragments following ballistic impact. The coating also provides additional surface protection against abrasion and environmental exposure.
- Multi-Hit Capability: Designed to withstand multiple impacts within its tested ballistic performance parameters. Actual multi-hit performance depends on ammunition type, impact velocity, shot placement, and testing conditions.
- Independent Ballistic Testing: Subjected to ballistic testing to evaluate performance against specified threats. Protection ratings and test results are determined by the applicable test configuration and supporting documentation.
- Canadian Manufacturing: Manufactured in Canada using AR500 ballistic steel, with an emphasis on material quality, dimensional consistency, and manufacturing reliability
Important Information
ICW Configuration: This plate must be used with the compatible soft armour backing specified in its ballistic standard documentation. It is not intended for standalone use unless separately tested and rated for that configuration.
Ballistic Rating: NIJ Level IV (0101.06) and RF2 (0101.07) are distinct classifications.
